Corsis Technology Group, the predecessor to the current Promotions.com was founded in 1993 as a full service technology services company specializing in the needs of small and mid-size companies. At the time, Corsis provided a holistic approach to their clients' technology needs offering services that ranged from network installation and support to application development and eventually adding data center hosting in the late 90's. Headquartered in New York City, Corsis accumulated a large list of media, agency and marketer clients and quickly developed a strong core competency in the area of marketing technologies.

As we executed more and more sweepstakes, online games and other promotions and began managing some of the largest media websites on the Internet, Corsis reinvested that knowledge and experience in improving and refining our capabilities. This resulted in a team of some of the best marketing technology professionals in the industry as well as a solid and tested infrastructure on which to run the company.

Corsis continued to evolve towards this core, eventually dropping less relevant offers like network support, while maintaining its technological strength. In July of 2007, Corsis purchased its long time client, Promotions.com and re-branded the company under the Promotions.com name.

Shortly thereafter, in August 2007, the TheStreet.com (NASDAQ: TSCM) a leading financial media company, purchased Promotions.com.
